Parent Teacher League (PTL) of Immanuel Lutheran School
The PTL is an organization to which all families of Immanuel Lutheran School belong. The purpose of PTL is to create good communication between parents and school, foster spiritual and family growth, and improve school academis and extra-curricular activities.

September - First meeting: Picnic, Safe Church - See meeting minutes below
October 6th - Fall Family Night at Poppe's Pumpkin Patch! We'll begin with a short meeting and meal at 5:30. Fun night goes until 8pm - Thank you Joel, Dory, Mary, and Matthew Poppe!!
December - Family Christmas event TBD: Suggestions welcome!
January 8th - Meeting in church basement 7pm - Topic: basketball Tournament
February 6th & 7th - Immanuel Basketball Tournament
March 1 - 8 - National Lutheran Schools Week
March 26th - Fine Arts Performances 7pm followed by meeting and officer nominations
April 23rd - 7pm - Election of officers, Parade planning
May 22nd - Graduation 7pm

PTL Meeting Minutes 09/02/08 Devotions were led by Dr. Leonard and the 7&8 grade class.
Secretary and Treasurers Report
Dr. Leanard touched on Faculty, enrollment,points for partents,after school procedures,Absence and tardiness,building changes for 2008/09, upcoming events. Pastor talked about 10 rules for respect.
Old Business -Parade committee had 5 parades this year, went to 4, Jackson was rained out, great fun had by all! MSC(Motion, Second, and Carry) to reimburse Ken for miles put on his truck (118 miles)
New Business -Went through PTL schedule for the year. -Fall family event will be at the Pumpkin patch starting at 5:30 Oct. 6th. -Fundraisers this year are Klienen, and Captains Choice these will end Sept. 15th -Playground update: We have $7,300 saved for new playground equipment, MSC for PTL to donate $3,000 for the playground,money raised from Basket auction, and other fundraisers to go back to PTL for the donation. Playground Equipment will have Fall Delivery.
