"We Love Because He First Loved Us" - 1 John 4:19
Welcome to Immanuel Lutheran Church and School. Our goal is to provide a strong education along with a firm belief in Jesus Christ.

Our Purpose:
Immanuel is a fellowship of Christian believers which seeks growth as the Body of Christ. As Christ’s Body, we want to share His love in both word and deed with one another, and with the world. As Lutheran Christians, we confess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, we rely only on His grace for our salvation. We seek to live our lives in the power of the Spirit. We study the Scriptures to know God’s will and what pleases Him in and through our lives. Learning and relating to the Word is important to us.
As a congregation, we recognize, both the challenge and the importance of being a Body. In order to sustain our lives as participants of a Christian community, each of us needs a Life-giving connection to Christ, the Head of the Body. We also need the connection with other members of the Body.
The first priority in our congregation is WORSHIP. Gathering as believers to hear God’s Word, and to celebrate the Sacrament, is the center of our life as a community. We encourage regular worship as an important priority for all members.
As a “family in Christ”, we also seek to bring a WITNESS to the world, both through ministries focused primarily on proclaiming the Gospel and ministries dedicated to the SERVICE of others. Both our witness and service reach around the world.
We also pray that each member may become effectively united to the “family” through personal relationships with other members. This FELLOWSHIP happens through a variety of small and mid-sized groups. In these relationships of mutual care, love, and service, we can fulfill Christ’s command to “love one another” (John 15:12) and, by doing so, the Body can “build itself up in love, as each part does its work” (Ephesians 4:16).
As a congregation, it is our desire to grow in “love and obedience”. Teaching the Scripture to one another is the way for this growth to happen. It is our expressed desire to NURTURE men and women, marriages, parents, and young people by providing growth experiences in Bible study and application.
